About me

I’m a Technical Creative Director and Designer with over 15 years experience working in creative agencies in London.
My job is to find creative technical solutions for various industries from advertising to healthcare. I explore new technologies to realise a fully functioning end result.

To give a better idea of what I do my work-flow usually goes something like this.
1) Work with a client to define a brief
2) Research – technical and or market, what tech is available, what’s been done before, current trends etc.
3) Resourcing – finding the right team, especially for more technically challenging projects is vital. Sometimes everything can be done in house but, with more cutting edge technologies quite often there are only a handful of people in the world that might know how to achieve something.
4) Creative Concepts – moodboards, storyboards, animations
5) Oversee Production – development, construction
6) Oversee Delivery – Physical or virtual – can include physical Installation, go-live of apps and websites or delivery of virtual assets.

I’ve been lucky enough to work on some ground-breaking projects, such as the Pepsi Monster Mirror which received millions of YouTube hits and earned my client several awards.
The Pepsi Monster Mirror project also caught the eye of technology giant Intel who asked me to feature in this recent case study film.

Previously I worked as Head of Design at several agencies, including Weapon7 and Tonic, where I recruited and led the design teams.

I currently run RAD Digital Ltd. RAD specialises in delivering off the wall creative digital projects for a variety of clients. I’m available work with clients on a consultancy basis or am able to take a brief and deliver a full service through RAD.
